Image is everything someone once told me. Some say dress for success and others say it doesn’t matter. Whether you believe it or not is up to you. But my question is- does it really effect you in a sales environment? For me the answer is yes! Your eyes are the windows to your heart when you are a woman shopping.
Many of the retail giants are experts in this field. Louis Vuitton is a great example of how “image” is everything. I recently have been overseas and saw one of their amazing window displays in a large shopping centre. This display was a giant chocolate box with all the handbags inside the squares where the chocolates would be. Simply, yet perfectly, executed from outside the store to inside the store with a follow on of cute chocolate inspired displays. It was truly breathtaking and was pulling a crowd of people from all directions so much so that they had to rope off the front window.
